Top 5 motivational posts of all time (or at least the past couple years)

I’m not a person to take shortcuts, aside from fast-forwarding through commercials on recorded TV shows. Or when buying a rotisserie chicken when I’m too lazy to cook, which is a lot, unfortunately.

But this week I’m making an exception.

I spent the entire weekend preparing for a webinar I’m hosting this Thursday, How to Beat the Weight Loss Odds After Menopause.

In fact, I hope you can join me. I’ll be dishing out some tasty advice — low-calorie and fat-free, of course. (Click the link HERE for more info if you didn’t already receive an invite.)

So in the meantime, I had little time for anything else, including coming up with a witty situation to launch this blog post.

I had a few in mind, which you may hear about soon, however, including:

— Finding myself on my way to the bathroom with a bottle of fat-free creamer instead of going to the refrigerator with it

— Hiring a closet organizer who, upon writing up the sales order, tells me she’s a born again Christian and that she “channels God through poetry.” And would I like to hear one of her poems? Umm… no.

— I will soon be undertaking a 24-hour urine collection, which I am looking forward to doing as much as I look forward to the giant earthquake that will inevitably shake California (my homestead) loose from the rest of the continent.

Clearly, it’s not as if things are anywhere closer to normal than usual, but instead of elaborating and doing my usual dissection of these incidents (spoiler alert: none will be pretty), I decided to recap a few of my top motivational posts instead.

I hope you forgive my lack of creativity, but trust me, it’s not for any other reason than spending more time than I figured on the webinar, which will benefit you more than words can say. But I will try to say them, nonetheless.

Without further ado… check out these popular prior posts to keep you inspired this week… and please join me this Thursday! I would love to see you there.
